There is nothing but woe, from this announcment...

Its way to early and way to late for April Fool's - one would have to be insane to want to buy thisw pre-built - considering the much cheaper hack@home option and the fun / learning involved.

Recently theres been a post on EAB whereby this "commodore usa" announces all these "vapourware" products they have for 2010 - nothing more than a wintel zero-foot-print pc.

To be fair I am utterly disgusted by it.

What is this vapour smell? Hmm...

Also, Is just a matter of buying a C64 Keyrah, the mATX board of your choice, a 120W pico-PSU and use the C64 you have at hand. Problem solved and no fumes from a zombie company involved.:p

You know fine well that if these things are ever made at all, that's all they'll be inside anyway!

Yup; there are loads of us on here that could put something together like that and yet they think it's special

Meh. x 100.

If this ever sees the light of day, I can't see it using exactly the C64 keyboard we all know and love. It'd damn impractical for controlling a PC.

I also can't see it selling well. If I want a low-powered PC, I'll build a mini-ITX Atom system or I'll buy a netbook.

Would it not be easier, and indeed more fun to attempt this yourself?

Judging by the comments on their page, IF they ever release it, there might be a market for it...

There are a lot of people that don't want to fun/education of doing it themselves.

I applaud the concept (doubt I'd buy one tho), but I doubt the company..

I thought Tulip had / owned the rights to the "Commodore" dis-brand.

did they fold?.... if so.... it does indeed seem like the "Commodore" curse.
