I'm trying to understand what would I need to program PLCCs and other ICs when building A4000. I mean those which control IDE, Zorro, RAM, etc. Can please somebody point out which programmer device (with required adapters) would be sufficient? I was looking for XGecu T56, but it seems it would require some adapters. I have already Kickstart ROMs for A4000, hence these are not a priority, but would be nice to have an option to flash them as well.

Is there a programmer that does not require an adapter for plcc's?
Go for the T56 with the adapters you need if it is the cheapest option.

My uncertainty regarding adapters was more about functionality than physical matching. I remember that ROMs were a bit tricky to flash, and you need a special adapter even though physically you could have plugged those ROMs into a programmer. From what I see, a cheaper T48 with a basic set of adapters should be sufficient, but I have no clue about it 🙂.
