Hi all,

I’m trying to get ProTracker running on my Amiga 1200 with PiStorm + Emu68, but I keep hitting the same problem in every version I’ve tried (2.3d, 3.x, even 4.0).
As soon as I go into Disk Op, the cursor changes to green, then the whole thing freezes. I can’t click on anything and the only way out is a reboot.
Has anyone here managed to get ProTracker working properly on PiStorm/Emu68? Is there a specific version, patch, or trick needed to make Disk Op work?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

I have tried and it works. Thank you.
However, I would still prefer the 3.61 version, so I'm currently trying to see if there is a way to make it work somehow.

OK, so this is an indication of Disk Op. having buggy code. The bug seems to slip through the cracks on a real 68k CPU, but ends up being more fatal on PiStorm/Emu68.

Yes, definitely. It would be good to get to the root cause. I heard on a polish forum ppa.pl that someone has 3.61 working on PiStorm under OS3.9.

I have tested 3.61 and 3.62 on my A600 with Vampire MantiCore, and both work fine for me here; I can load modules and play.
V3.62 is here Protracker V3.62

So it must be due to Emu68k.

You are probably right. I have just rebuild new micro SD card with pure 3.2 OS and it still doesn't work, niether from SD or the internal IDE. Protracker definitely crashes when trying to access fast storage on PiStorm. It works with PiStorm disconnected. However, I have no clue why it would work for someone on 3.9 OS.
