Thta's exactly why the warranty sticker was gone,this was mine from new and after warranty ran out i replaced the thermal paste and defluffed it every 6 months to keep the the yellow light at bay.
The warranty stickers can be removed in one piece with a heat gun and replaced and it looks intact, surely if it was a con i'd have done this.
It's down to bad luck i'm afraid but i'm happy to refund Reflex if he returns it to me

i sent the ps3 off for a reball its all working now just bit of unluckyness one of these thing i guess
