okie here goes I am parting with my spare Custom Firmware ps3, main reason I just dont make good use of it and with having a slim this has gone to waste so here it is for sale

The PS3 is in reasonable condition and is completely working, I replaced the blu ray laser few weeks ago and it reads games and dvds no problem.

It has the QA flag enable so can but downgraded or upgraded to any Firmware currently its on Rogero 4.50 with multiman installed

the hard disc is 40gb

there is no controller only the power lead

There has never been any sights of YLOD and the console is completely working

I was looking for £80 or open to offers

I will send it with parcel2go courier tracking will be provided

I'm interested, but are there any problems with a unit like this getting online? I don't do gaming online really, not much at least, but I would really like to connect to PSN to download indie games, for example.

Hopefully you can educate me in this matter.

hi mate thanks for the interest as far as I know you need to use a tool like psnope or PSN PATCH v1.01 to disable the cfw so it looks like a real stock ps3 but saying that I have used my slim console on the psn store to download vita games with out any problem e.g no ban suspension etc.

but as with everything theres always a chance that the ban hammer could swing

Since this would be my first PS3, I don't think I should have one which could possibly be banned if I make a mistake or whatever, so I'll pass the gauntlet onto AmigaForever and may he enjoy the unit :))
