with a good 4MB zorro RTG card (or a pci if you go the mediator way) 1280*1024/100hz is possible :) if you get a 060 too, it will help LOTS

the Deneb is OK, as long as you follow it's manual and don't connect it's USB ports the wrong way.... it is delivered with it's own ports, so with a little cross-checking nothing can go wrong :)

here is a little teaser (click on the thumbnail to enlarge the photo):

:p

Why is it called the emergency RGB to compositeemergency ? Is it in terms of Quality or in terms of Dangerous:ninja:?

Would this be doable with VGA TO? (or is it out of television specs then)

Can I allow PASS TROUGH? (to VGA Monitor / dual monitor)

I checked at XXXXX it costs 15 euro's to build . (including sending)

Without the cable to put in the television.

I did not mention the shop, I am not sure it is ok with the rules.

If you can make one of the "emergency" units with scraps you have at home, fine.

Have to buy a hundred resistors to use just four is insane. Also grab just the female sub-D and sand off the two leftmost pins to make the rare DB23.

You can't use this device at same time with any other who plugs in the DB23 RGB out.

As I said before, the output will be monochromatic and ready for plug the yellow RCA cable on it.

BTW: if the device will cost you 15EURO, better grab an A520 for the same price.

BTW2: is OK to link to sites with "buy it now at fixed price" kind of sites. Just auctions are forbidden.

mmm

mmm

The information was very clear:thumbsup: I did not realise even that it was DB23:wooha:

But that is not the point, I saw on my desk the DB23 to VGA in PLASTIC so.. (spare one) (lost and found)

Think will wait for the DENEB USB and INDIVISION SCANDOUBLER.

Have other issues that I will post, you will realise why

Anyway many txs,

---------- Post added at 22:12 ---------- Previous post was at 21:35 ----------

I noticed that the right button is not working on the A4000D, did not find another mouse yet, but the cocolino did not work either, I tested with a wireless mouse wich works using ps/2 but no go..(tested on pc's) (installed the software on amiga)

I think I will have to wait until the DENEB USB arrives together with the INDivisioN scandoubler,

When getting one of the floppy drives out of the A2000, I found a memory card named 3 STATE MEGAMIX III, the jumpers tell 2MB's But is heavy from the ram chips. I remember using the A2000 to play A500 games, and yes it could be that I changed the jumpers.. The internet was far to expensive then, and I might have thought to get better compatibility. The 1.3 workbench was not very attractive..I was younger then..

Can I fit it in an A4000 and play with the jumpers?

Still one question remains: I copied the floppy disk contents of the workbench disk to another floppy wich is HD(amiga). Does Amiga boot from HD? I just wanted to create a Workbench Disk wich boots in a mode that I have a display to start to configure the system, swap the hd ed.

I copied the prefs (overscan) and (monitor ) and the monitor file - but the system does not boot from the floppy.

Sorry for the heaps of questions:dry:

If the right mouse button is not working, first check continuity on the mouse port. If OK, you may have a major problem: right mouse port is directly connected to CIA.

The RAM card will work, but every time the computer access it you'll experience a slowdown. But better have a few extra Mb of RAM than a visit of Mr Guru due lack of memory. Play with the expansion card's jumpers at you'll will. It's yours hardware, anyway.

The Amiga will boot from HD if it is partitioned & formatted with a file system recognised at boot time. Even your old A2000 have this ability (if you have a HD controller on it).

You need to fully install the Workbench to make it work. At least, copy to the boot partition:

-Full C drawer;
-Full DEVS:
-Full prefs
-Full S:
