This came as is out of an apple mac enclosure.

The seller did not know the size since hdtoolbox reports 20 meg, yeah right (y)

Seagate Barracuda 50GB ST150176LC SCA-2 80pin 7.2K U80 SCSI Hard Drive -

Would this be a quicer and better drive for my A4000 ? (I am using a 2.1 old mac drive)

IT worked like that, without jumpers in the external exclosure (like on the pic) the back id bloc was NOT connected uuh??

Is it the jumpers on the drive like in the pic that set the id then?

As it is it is set to ID0, no termination, no termination power.

It is a good drive, only make the same noise level as a jet air plane taking off.
