Ive been toying with getting one of these and have done since they were first introduced many moons ago and have a question regarding connecting the device to an A1200. I notice you have the option of either using a clockport connection or the IDE port using a 40 to 45 way cable... but I was wondering is it also possible to connect it to one of the 40 way channels on a 4 way buffered interface ? Asking as I have a rev 1A motherboard that is lacking any clockport headers, thanx.

It is not a 40 to 45 cable, but a regular IDE cable as the Catweasel MK2 has one (do not connect it to the clockport interface or you will fry everything).
As for the IDE connection, it is made with the A4000 in mind but can be used on an A1200 providing you have a 3,5' 40 pins IDE interface.
This won't work with an IDE splitter though, either before or after the catweasel.

I maybe should mention its the Anniversary edition...

Compatiblity
The Catweasel MK2 Anniversary Edition is vesatile in compatiblity. It can be installed onto one of the following connectors:

A1200 motherboard's clockport
bullet.jpg
A1200's IDE connector (need CABIDE009)
bullet.jpg
A4000's IDE connector

A600's clockport on A602 memory expansion

Bit of a pity it cant play nice with a 4 way interface as I assume the system will see a connected drive as a disk device on the IDE bus like a Zip or LS120 ?
