I don't have a r8500 for sale but wanted to let you know about the r9100. It has the same core (albeit clocked a bit lower) but is far more common and can be had for much cheaper. Cheers!

Hi,

Here is list.. they would need to be tested, they have been in storage for some time...as far as I recall they were working...

FX5200
Geforce 7300 GT
Radeon VE
2 of Rage IIC
Nipigon 4MB
Radeon HIS HD 5450 ( this is PCI card....not PCIe new, never used except to test )
Asus V9520
Radeon 9520
Geforce 6200
Radeon 9520 Pro

I might have an AGP board around somewhere to check these, not sure.

Regards,
Peter

Aree they ATI Radeon 9250? Thank you. I'd be interested in one of those or the FX5200. :) hopefully the shipping is reasonable. I wanted to by a $3 cable and they wanted to charge $25 shipping on ebay.

Yes, Ebay has some odd shipping algorithms. I shipped an item, a zorro board to a buyer in the US, Washington state, postage was $40.00 CDN.
Ebay Shippo stated it was "buyer requested" commercial post. I queried the buyer, on Ebay messaging, why he used commercial Xpresspost, rather then the cheaper Parcel Post, which was $17.00 CDN.

He said he did not request any particular shipping method. Reviewing the Shippo postal order form, I could have overridden, and sent it cheaper, but due to the "buyer requested" note, I assumed the buyer had a reason...but after I checked with him, he said no...he did not.

i just ordered a rom switcher from Greece and the shipping is only 9.70 euro ( about 14.22 CDN ), and it is comparable in size and weight to the item I sent to the US.
Why shipping to the US is so high, even at $17.00 which is is high. I'm not sure ,but the average wage for a US postal worker is $100,000 USD might be a reason.

I seldom buy from the US....a similar rom switcher from the US was about the same item price...but $20.00+ USD shipping.

I will check those two, the ATI Radeon 9250 and FX5200 for functionality when I source an AGP board, and shipping cost with Canada Post to UK?.

I might need your postal code and phone area code to do a Canada post estimate.

Sorry about the shipping rant...

Take cate,
Peter
