Hi there,
as per the title I want to sell my recapped, but defective, A600 Mainboard Rev. 2D.
As visible in the pictures the card boots and it does work for a while but it needs to be fixed since it randomly freezes. I experienced some gurus as well and also some random restarts. A few times I got a black screen at boot and after having ran for a few hours the Memory Test of AmigaTestKit I received a black screen visible in the last picture.
Today I used the mainboard for more than an hour without any issues and, as you can see in one picture, the memory test ran correctly for a while, however who will buy this card will have to fix it.
When I bought the card it was already recapped and it did work well for about 6 months. I suspect that a module of RAM could be defective but that's just my idea. Note that the card had a repair near R215 (as visible in a picture) and that the ROM socket has been replaced as well.
The mainboard comes with:
- Original 2.05 (37.300) ROM
- A PCB led (it works but the soldering are very ugly and should be re-done)
- A bottom shield with some rust here and there, the insulation layer and all the Hexagonal Bolt Screws
- The RF Modulator that was removed from it (I have no idea if it works)
Here the pictures (sorry for the quality, I have a bad camera and the artificial light isn't great):

The request is 80 --> 75 --> 70 euros plus shipping.
Shipping to Italy should be about 10 euros and shipping within Europe should be about 20 euros (I'll give you the actual quote once I have your shipping address).
Shipping is always tracked and signed for.
Payment by paypal as gift or by Bank Transfer (IBAN)
Item for sale elsewhere as well. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for reading.
Edit:
This is an update and the last price drop from 75 to 70 euros.
If I won't sell the card in a couple of days I'll send it to my trusted technician to be repaired
This morning I tried the card and I got the guru meditation I mentioned above. This time I wrote the code down and checked it on the Internet.
It was "Guru 8000 0003 Task 0000 26D0" and I found a thread where a guy that was having similar issues was told that it was probably a RAM issue.
Someone suggested to check capacitor C17B so I looked for it on the mainboard but I only found C17A.
Even if I didn't see anything wrong I removed it, cleaned the pad and soldered it again. Nothing changed so, not having another capacitor I decided to swap the capacitor in C17A with the one in C22.
I did so but I didn't solve the issue at all. Now, after having swapped again the 2 capacitors I get only a black screen but the floppy disk drive ticks and if I insert a floppy disk on it the drive reads it.
I have no more clues but I'm sure that the card is easily repairable by someone with knowledge and appropriate instruments so it is still for sale for someone that want to fix it or, as I already said, I'll ask my trusted technician to repair it.
Thanks for reading.
PS:
I've just checked the output from composite and the screen isn't all black but you can see some white image on it. There are a few white moving squares that are certainly the floppy disk that goes in the drive.
