Hello Amibay Members,

I feel the current state of Games and Computers have lost that personal touch. I know I maybe a bit on the edge here regarding this statement. However, I feel today's Big Business tycoons like Microsoft do not innovate but just keep adding and copying from other businesses out there. This is why Retro needs to stay alive. Seriously, without the Retro Community, no one could be excited about the next version of Windows or the Next XBox system or the next Playstation. Don't get me wrong, there are still some good games out there but so much has lost that personal touch that Retro Games had in the past! That's my stance. Thanks for the chance to introduce myself!

Hello to you!

I do agree that computers and their games do lack something these days. And that's propably why a computer like the Amiga has still such a loyal community. I rarely play any modern games. All these smooth high definition games just don't grab my attention or trigger my fantasy. I prefer to sit in front of my old Amiga and play one of the many classics I didn't get to play up till now.

So all the best; Arno. :)

Hello & welcome to AmiBay from me as well.

Welcome aboard, hntchusr52.

Hopefully you'll find the hardware and software that you're looking for here!

A thousand times this. I've lost interest in modern games entirely, at this point, myself, but I'm finding that there are still plenty of new-to-me older games that I have yet to discover.
