1) Dell Dimension D430 subnotebook:

12" widescreen 1280x800 (TN) TFT
Intel Core2Duo U7600 (1.2GHz)

1.8" 32GB HDD replaced by 32GB Kingspec SSD (original HDD still available if required)

Highly portable subnotebook with good keyboard and battery that actually works. Well-used (by my mother-in-law) but well looked after (by university IT department, until donated to me 6 months ago), only issue is that the hinges are a bit loose and slight cosmetic damage on lower part of casing on one corner and side.

One of the latest laptops with full set of legacy ports; serial, parallel, S-Video, IR. This laptop spent the better part of a decade in the bottom of a cupboard at work, so is in remarkably pristine condition. There is no play in the hinges and even the original battery still works.
