It was announced earlier today by his wife Michele that Keith Beard, aka Zetr0, has passed away suddenly. Zetr0 was one of the original founders of AmiBay in late 2007 and was active on a large number of retro forums. RIP buddy, you will be sadly missed.

WT... can't believe it really... Really sad news, RIP Keith and condolences to his family.

Sad news! Which one is Keith? I never had the pleasure, Zetr0 was long before I joined Amibay.

RIP šŸ™

It was through Zetr0 that I joined AmiBay back in 2008

Such a helpful guy that'll be missed

@Watson Keith is on the left of the photo.

Sad news, I met him a few times at meetups and Keith was always a pleasure to speak to and all round genuinely nice guy.

Zetr0 was super knowledgeable about Amiga HW and electronics in general, it's a huge loss.

Had the pleasure of briefly meeting him at one of the retro fairs in Blackpool ca. 2014 - very nice chap.

RIP Keith, we'll remember you.

I did Replay twice with him at Event City in Manchester. He even helped me run an AmiBay stall at Replay, where we sold off loads of retro tapes and stuff to raise funds for the site.

Really sad news my thoughts are with his family, he'll be sorely missed.

Hi again all, i was asked to post condolences on behalf of Skillgannon who no longer visits here about Keith's passing.

Keith meant a lot to John and without Amibay he might not have the pleasure to have met Keith or some of the other people he currently calls friends.
He is saddened and shocked by the news and Keith will missed a lot.

Rest in Peace Keith :(

Rest in peace Keith, and condolences to his friends and family. I'm sorry for your loss.

I never knew him, unfortunately. Maybe in the next life..

All the best Keith.

WHAT

Some of my earliest/fondest memories in Amigadom was referencing his informative posts back in the early 00's. His avatar is forever seared into my brain. I never knew the guy, but wow he will be sorely missed. What an awful bummer. RIP

I was only asking where he was a few months ago. We had many interesting conversations over the years here and EAB. RIP Keith
