I would recomend the MT-32 or CM-32L with a MPU-401 (or compatible). Haven't seen any LAPC-I cards for sale in a long time.

I would also recommend the MT-32 (old version) over an LAPC-I mainly due to cost, an LAPC-I is very expensive assuming that you can find one that is. I am lucky enough to own one that I bought many years ago before prices went to comedy proportions, but it's not for sale, sorry ;)

If you do go for an MT-32 then you don't actually need to have a real MPU-401 these days (again they are very expensive) as there is a really competent MPU-401 emulator available here, http://bjt42.github.io/softmpu/ I have used it and it's works very well indeed with the MT-32.

Thanx guys. I have MT32. I still would love to buy one. What about PCMCIA card? I can give a good price and I will add Audigy 2 ZS.
