Yes it is 30€ per drive and they cannot be modified to work as HD drive. They can only use HD disks, even though I have not tested with any. 99% they do work.

Would you please:
1 - explain the differences between the two brand floppy drives listed (and model part numbers if also different models are listed);
2 - what have been the alterations performed to each drives;
3 - what tests and types of floppies supported (DD, HD) for each of the drives listed;

Samsung drives has the RDY signal available on the pcb. So with the modification you have a 100% Amiga compatible drive.
I have a lot of drives modified for amiga but some of them cannot run some original games or demos.
The Nec drives that are listed could run these games, so I put them up on sale.
The other drives (Sony or mitsumi) can run 95% or more of the games but I decided not to sell them.
About the models.. There are no differences. I just mention it.
All drives are tested with DD disks only. If interested I can test them with HD disk when I have some.

Can you see if the NEC drives support HD and DD floppies

If I understood the NEC floppies are able to run 100% of all Amiga sw and the Sony and Mitsumi floppies can run only 95% of the Amiga sw

Correct ?

If correct then I take all 3 NEC drives
