ScanPlus AGA is a internal scan-doubler designed for Amiga 1200 / 4000D and CRT / LCD monitors. Supports both PAL and NTSC screen modes.

It fits into the A1200 and / or A4000D perfectly. The flat cable is long enough to mount the DSUB15 pin VGA connected on the rear side of the Amiga 1200 or in a free slot of the Amiga 4000.

No painful configuration procedure and no warm up time is needed, just plug in and enjoy!

The item is fully working. Comes unboxed but has installation manual.

How does this look on a vga CRT monitor? That’s the intent of this device, but I can’t find any data online showing where someone has used it on a CRT. Thanks!

The image on this when using my old HP 17" CRT was sharp and clear. Was used until a week ago on my Hanns-G 19" LCD with no issues. Again nice clear display but had to fine tune the 19" monitor's settings to remove some slight on-screen banding.

If you use the HighGFX monitor driver is it able to double the frequency so that the LCD monitor is able to show a 1024 x 768 image via the VGA input?

To be honest, I never tried to do that so cannot say if what you propose actually works.
