I have for sale a SD Floppy Emulator REV F in external case for A500/A600.

It's in very good shape and equipped with 2Gb SDcard.

I tested with my Amiga 500 (kick1.3, kick 3.1) as external drive (DF1), and with Boot selector as DF0 for trackloders.

Price is 115 € + Postage + Paypal Fees

Info about HxC....

Info about HxC....

Hi...

I just want some info about the way you use the HxC.

You said that you used a boot selector for booting the HxC with trackloader disks. Can I know what kind of switch you used ???
I have an Action Replay mkIII wich let me select BOOT device, but some games and demos force this setting, and search to the real physical df0:.
Even if I set BOOT on df1:, the disc BOOT in DF1: but try to load the rest of the disc on the real df0:.
Is a physical switcher better than my AR mk III ????

thanks for reply.

Frederic.

Hi Frederic,

Yes, physical switcher is the perfect solution for trackloaders. I'll post a photo about my setup.
As I remember the ARMK III boot swithing solution is equal with the possibilies of kicrom 3.1. It's enough for dos / maybe system friendly softwares but less for games and demos.
There is a simply home made version of the boot selectors, it's simply swap the internal and external drives by wires. (I'll post some versions for you)
Long ago ('90), when the original internal drive (Chinon) was very expensive / 2000 ATS at Commodore Austria ;) / we used this solution.

Greets,
Laszlo
