* some optimization & rewriteing some part's of code for the SD card reading gives.. some extra speed (not a lot and in some cases none) in SD card reading NOT to C64! thats ALL.. what i mean!

if you change the firmware to original one you have the original sd2iec.. so simply...

Thank you for the prompt answer. This sounds like a very good buy, but unfortunately I need to archive a lot of disks and this is a bit slow for that.
