SD/Micro sd Memory Card to 2.5 44pin IDE Adapter Reader For Laptop NEW

can i use this on the amiga instead of cf? which cf would you recommend? i have 44 pin ide cables, i want to run 2 cf cards on one interface, that can be done cant it? the other reason is running a cdrom drive and a cf flash on one interface.
im pretty sure i can set slave/master on the cd, i know i can on the hdd. im looking to move to hardrive out and replacing it with cf. i wanted one boot cf and one all purpose access read/write.

if i can go to sd id rather go to sd, i know everyone ive seen on you tube has been using cf.

i also wanted to know how difficult could it be to transfer the os to the cf or just install from a cdrom drive. the cdrom drive is a dvd/cd-rom rw +/- it is ide, 44 pin. i have os 3.5 and want to use it instead of 3.1

all of my ide cables are 44pin female. i know this solution would work, i want to know if it is compatible with the amiga direct, or do i need some type of driver?

They work but usually do not work the led correctly. I've not had the ones you mention but other SD to IDE adapters which you can readily buy on ebay.... just to warn you that those ones when used on an ide splitter need a channel to themselves, there is no way to select master/slave on them and nothing is recognised on the same cable. So if you use a 4 way buffered interface you can only attach 3 devices to it.

thanks for the help. that makes sense; i know that on the pc you had to denote master/slave and slave over the other other devices on the same chain, unless you ran on a secondary proprietary interface then it was the same all the way down the chain, first in line was supposed to be master, however depending on configuration or build, as long as one denote master the rest slave.
