Just to avoid any confusion

Sd2psx is a custom memory card that allows you to save ps1 and ps2 games to an SD card. Can also be used to boot freemcboot on ps2

For booting games from sd card your most likely thinking of mx4sio which is used for ps2 and plays games from a memory card fitted with a sd card slot. This only works on ps2
