Sega Nomad Master System Mod

Can I ask a question about the Sega Nomad Master System Mod?

It is possible to carry out a relatively simple mod to the Sega Nomad that allows the system to play Sega Master System games. The procedure is detailed here. http://chipmod.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/sega-nomad-mods-sms-mod-region-mod-lcd.html

Can anyone tell me this, will that mod only work with an actual physical Master System cart or will it allow running MS games using the Mega Everdrive as well?

I don't really want to do the mod if it will not work with the Everdrive.

It works with the Everdrive MD or Mega Everdrive.

I did it to mine, It's quite a simple mod, just the one wire however the pins of the Asic are VERY small so be careful not to bridge them if you plan to do the mod yourself.

Great, many thanks scrappysphinx. No I'm not planning on doing it myself, I was going to until I got the board out and saw how microscopic the pins on the Asic were!!

I have not actually tried using it with the converter as I manly use my Everdrive, but I do have one so i will try it tonight on mine and see if I get the same issue as you.
