I have for sale this Sega Saturn console and mod chip which enables playback of back-up/burned discs. I would prefer to sell together but will also sell separately. The console is not working, it seems to power on but then only shows a black screen. The CD-ROM drive was working fine before the console developed the fault so I assume that still works. I thought the mod chip or associated wiring may be to blame, but having removed it and restoring to 'factory' it still doesn't work. So I am confident the chip works fine, it comes with the required ribbon cable and wire pre-soldered. Sorry I am not sure what the problem with the console is, could be an easy fix but sold as seen. If buying on its own, this chip is only for 21 pin MK2 consoles. Please note, the console does not include a save battery (it was flat so no point including it.)

Prices
Mod chip: £20
Console: £20
EDIT: No longer available.

+ shipping and Paypal fees.

Interested in the console by itself. Do you have a spare SCART lead perhaps? How much do you think postage costs will be to send this to Greece?

Sorry I should have said no power or AV cables are included, it is just the console. Shipping to Greece would be £17 GBP via Royal Mail tracked.

Just to say, I have a Saturn MK2 and when I bought it, it was very flaky and often wouldn't boot. Saw some advice which basically said strip it down and clean and often this does the trick. Sceptical that I was, I did and blow me down it's now completely reliable so that would be the first thing I'd try!
