At that time, China had strict laws about video games and the megadrive was not allowed to be sold there. To get around this, Sega teamed up with Tianli to make an 'educational' VCD player which housed inside it a fully functional megadrive console. It came with 9 CDs which each had about 88 megadrive games on them (about 700 games from the megadrive's library, all the biggest games) which could be loaded from the main menu. It has two megadrive control pad ports and comes with two controllers, and av cable. Some scratches to the matt black.
