Closed Service manual for Commodore 1551 disk drive

Hi!


I've got a not working Commodore 1551 disk drive ( the green and red LEDs light on, but the red led should turn off after a seconds, it does not). Does anybody know where I can get the service manual for commodore 1551 disk drive?

Why? Usually a schematic is enough to fix most things.

I am very clumsy with electronics and I prefer a "step by step"

Service Manuals don't really give a step to step, just a few diagnostic flowcharts (which are pretty much the same for any drive) and reference voltages. The schematic is enough to do a decent diagnosis.
