Settlers 2 install

HI Guys, well my wait is over and I finally get the game lha and expand it on my A1200 pi storm, so I think well all I need to do is click install right? NO with Amikit it keeps asking me for the Settlers2 disk when I check on EAB they talk about assigning the Install for which I go WHAT?

So maybe its just me and yes it may well be but should the Game not just click and install?

Can anyone help please?

Probably need to setup an assign to the directory where you extracted the contents.

Have a quick Google how to create a assign on amiga dos. Set it up as the name it's asking for.

Hey Steve, EAB to the rescue it was the assign of the folder

Kriz on EAB gave me this answer and it seems to work.

Well the installer needs an assign so just do the assign. When you depack the lha there is a Settlers2_Digital_Version/ directory inside.

Just assign Settlers2: to that directory and then run the installer."

So go to shell and write

assign Settlers2: YourDiskWithSettlers2:Settlers2Folder/Settlers2_Digital_Version/

games is running on RTG on the Pistorm just to figure out the sound assign now to send it via HDMI YAY....

Ps, you can set that up permanently by adding it to your user/startup sequence
