Sad news indeed, what a horrible disease.

Gil (The wife) is a big fan and has all the Discworld books.

We had a hoot many years ago playing Discworld on the PS1, Very funny.

Rincewind won't be forgotten .

Really sad news. I'm also a big fan, especially of his early Discworld work.

He also used an Amstrad CPC 464 for writing some of his work back in the day

I've been a fan of PT since I was 12 and have every single one of his books.
I always looked forward to his next release, and now, sadly there will be no more.
RIP Mr Pratchett, my all time favourite author. :(

...no-one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away... The span of someone's life, they say, is only the core of their actual existence.

I was lent the Colour of Magic by a graduate at work around 1985 and got hooked. Although I've changed a bit in the last 30 years I still find them funny today. I have all but the last two, which I totally missed. A situation I will have to remedy shortly and one of the few books I'd still buy in print rather than e format.

If you've not read any, give one a go, you might surprise yourself.
