I have many parcels in transit to Australia holding Amiga goodies, but geez are they all stuck on international docks somewhere? Some of the tracking has not updated in 4 weeks. Any other Aussies having similar experiences?:banghead::banghead:

Similar here in NZ. Still waiting on a package from the US which took 4 weeks to move 700km in the states alone.
UK seems fine (around 1 week) but another from Spain which was ordered in June arrived just yesterday.

I have received a few packages from Denmark over the last couple of weeks on average 6-7 weeks to arrive :tired:

They are most probably being a lot more cautious now with all incoming mail due to COVID-19

Yeah same here, been waiting about 8 weeks for a bunch of PC parts to arrive from Europe, no tracking updates either.

Fewer flights, and ports are backed up to the wazoo too. I have loads of stuff in transit as well, both personal as well as items needed for work.

Nothing else to do but wait. It'll show up eventually.

An item shipping to me from the US using USPS took about 4 days to go from Los Angeles to Perth airport.... and it's been stuck there at Perth airport since September 4 with no movement. I'm pretty confident it'll go to Australia Post now for the delivery to me and that's where the bottleneck is.

But on the other hand, I had an A3000 ship to me from Portugal last month using UPS and it was here within 2 weeks to my door!! With that one, Australia Post was out of the loop. It was delivered to me by an unmarked courier van so who knows who they contracted to do the delivery for the last leg to my house...

By the way, yes, the A3000 is awesome!

I had a parcel turn up from the states yesterday that was sent in late march.
I just accept that if it is not sent DHL, Fedex, UPS etc that it will take 2 months minimum.
Had amiga bits sent from US & spain & germany via DHL/Fedex and they turned up within 2 weeks.

I just received a package from Amiga on the Lake via USPS. 6 weeks in transit, with 3 of those between Perth and Brisbane.

Yeah couriers are where it's at right now. They have their own import channels so can get things through quicker. I've been ordering stuff from mouser, who use UPS and I get stuff within a week of ordering.

Now past 60 days waiting for deliveries from Sweden. Getting a bit worried. I have opened a case with Australia Post but have not had much luck with them in the past.

I ship stuff all over the world and it has been odd to say the least. Starting in late March there were 4 months or so of parcels being at a standstill. Due to a lack of flights USPS was diverting things to sea transport, then when it finally arrived at the destination country it might take many weeks to be delivered.

The past 6-8 weeks things been going about normal, a first class mail package sent to Germany a few weeks ago only took 1 week to arrive. A similar package to Australia took close to 6 weeks, some of that was it moving at a glacially slow pace within the USA, it went to the USA to Hing Kong to Oz in just a few days, and then took weeks to travel through Australia.

I have had the same issue with a shipment sent to Canada via UPS. It sat in a depot for a few weeks while UPS denied they had it, then they said it was locked up for security reasons, just excuses I think.

The worst part I think for both parties is just not being able to get any meaningful updates.
