I have for sale the following Slot 1 kit:
1. MSI Microstar MS-6126 motherboard with the Intel 440LX chipset. 66MHz bus Pentium II and Celeron platform.
It has an integrated ATI 3D Rage PRO AGP 2x video card with 2MB of SGRAM video memory
It has and YAMAHA YMF715E-S OPL3 integrated onboard soundcard. With great DOS and Win 9x compatibility.
2xPCI. 2XISA.
mATX form factor. Great for a retro build with a small footprint.
BIOS updated to the last official version 1.3
New CMOS battery. BIOS setting sorted. Ready to play!
2. Intel Pentium II 300MHz/66 512KB cache. SL2HA. Klamath CPU. The cooling fan runs great. It is made by PAPST. A little on the noisy side. You can change it if you want with another model.
3. New Old Stock PC100 256MB in the form of 2 sticks of 128MB. Kingston KTH5365/128. Unsealed just to test them. All good!
The kit was fully tested:
a) Win 98 SE install
b) MEMTEST 86+ RAM OK!
c) Drivers Install
d) Soundcard tests
e) Hours of DOOM and Quake to test the onboard video card.
f) Hours of testing in idle and full load. Speedsys 478, etc.
During testing the onboard video chip got a little hot. I recommend that you ensure a flux of air towards it once you mount the kit in a case. You can also attach a small radiator if you so desire.
This kit is ideal for a 3dfx VooDoo 1 build. The onboard video card is great for 2D and with a V1 you can expand the possibilities of this system.
From jumpers you can reduce the frequency of the CPU. You can look at this system as a Pentium 1 on steroids. Add the YAMAHA OPL3 chip and you have all you need to travel back in time and enjoy many games from your childhood.
Asking price is 130 (was 160) EUR plus shipping. I mainly ship to EU with DPD and I always pack the parts in double boxes or I use high density styrofoam to build an inner armor to protect the contents of the boxes. The price of these materials will be added to the shipping cost. Usually 5-10EUR depending of the size of the parcel.
I ship on the same day or the next day the payment enters my account. IBAN transfers only for now. I will provide all the details of shipping and packing to the future owner.
