So, Amiga OS 3.5/3.9

Can I install it straight onto my 4gb cf hd classic wb version 25 without wiping all my apps and data? Or is it like a windoze/Linux install which nukes everything?

you can install 3.5 and 3.9 straight over the top of 3.1(and each other),it was made to be done that way(with 3.1 roms of course)

it shouldn't effect apps or anything else,just be a bit careful when it asks for 4 ide interfaces and such on installation.

My cf card came with the Bloodwych Classic WB v25 pre installed, I'm not sure if I have WB3.0 or 3.1, but I do have the KS 3.1 roms fitted.

* I just remembered that the a1200 came with the wb 3.0 floppies as part of the bundle. Is there a way I can check which is installed?

3.1 should be on the 3.9 cd(cant remember if its on 3.5) so you should be ok

you can install direct to an empty hard if you have a startup disk
