Hi,
I bought some new pc kit recently which included a new motherboard and processor. I was going to reuse my thermalright "TRUE" 120 black edition cooler since it's excellent and has coped well with overclocked intel and amd cpu's in the past.
Turns out the intel mounting bracket that it came with is for socket 775 only - as the pins are slightly wider apart on later sockets. (Typically!).
You can get a socket 1155/1156 mounting kit separately but nobody seems to have any in stock, and generally stating no longer available.
I've even sent an email to thermalright direct but not had a reply to date.
Does anybody happen to have a thermalright intel 1155/1156 mounting kit going spare at all, suitable for a TRUE 120 (ThermalRight Ultra Extreme 120 to give it it's full name
) ? I think for some reason they are sold/listed as "bolt thu kits"...?
Thanks,
Ian.
