Sorry, I got an error message so thought post wasn't successful, but ended up to be there after all (i.e. double post), so this post #41 can be deleted

CPLD FFC RGBtoHDMI board
A600 (Denise PLCC) FFC breakout hat
20cm FFC flex cable

pending questions will be send via PM

Could you give me exact dimensions of the - A500 (Denise DIP) FFC breakout hat - £5? Also on what side is the cable socket (IC nodge or other, zooming in on picture doesn't work on new forum)
Is that flat cable similar to the Raspberry Pi camera cable, i.e. can it make quit a sharp angle if needed.

Why I ask, I hope this will fit in my Amy-ITX, which is very crammed:

Thx!

Hi timmie

The FFC flex connector is on the notch side of the Denise chip. See the attached image for the dimensions of the board.

The FFC flex cable, I believe, is similar/same as the Pi camera cable. You can fold it to your requirements.

Hi Fook42

Did you want the:

* A500 (Denise DIP) CPLD RGBtoHDMI board (with relocated Pi header) - GBP 25
or
* A500 (Denise DIP) CPLD RGBtoHDMI board rev 1.1 (with relocated Pi header and onboard menu button) - GBP 25.50

The first version does not come with a built in menu button, so it is recommended to get a menu button (20cm cable) for GBP 1

You have the following shipping options (using Royal Mail) - so the final pricing will be based on what option you want - it is recommended to go for at least International Tracked:

International Economy

So do I understand it correctly I have to power this with a floppy molex?

timmie

Powering through the floppy power connector is optional, but advisable. Power (and ground) traces comes over the flex cable and JP1 jumper is used to connect it to the board power rail. So if you don't have JP1 jumpered then you need power from the floppy power connector.
