No-solder A500/A2000/CDTV 2Mb Chip ram Agnus adapter
ships from the USA
Designed to give you 2Mb of chipram when installed with a 2Mb Agnus. The chip ram is on the board so you just need to supply the Agnus.
I tested this in an A2000 because my A500 is an A500+ so it already has 2Mb chip ram. As well as real time tests, I ran Amiga Test Kit's memory test and it tested good.
This board was soldered too hot causing minor melting to the PLCC socket, this in no way affects the functionality or the usage of the socket and is barely even noticeable, but because of this I am selling a little cheaper than I would otherwise.
2mb Agnus is NOT included
- This adapter is orientated to fit well in an Amiga 500 or A2000 without any adapters over the CPU/Kickstart (see pictures)
- The bottom of the board has a custom made inverted socket that fits perfectly and firmly into the 1Mb Agnus PLCC socket.
- Please examine the pictures carefully to make sure it will fit in your system.
- You will need to connect a wire to A20 (Address pin 20) either on the Gary or CPU. I can provide a Gary adapter if you want for 5 dollars, an A2000 CPU slot adapter for 20 dollars, or a test clip wire for free.
- wire is included.
I am asking:
2Mb Agnus adapter 40 USD plus shipping.
Important that you report back to me how it fits in your system.
Extras:
Gary adapter with pin A20 access, 5 dollars
A2000 68K Slot adapter with pin A20 access, 20 dollars
test clip wire is included free.
