Found some one who can repair cyberstorm ppc

hello guys i had a cyberstorm ppc 040/150 which need to be repaired.
The last time when i tried to turn it on was about 10 years ago i saw only a black screen ... is there some one who can fix it?

Another think i need to fix 2 motherboads a 4000d. is there some one who can fix amiga old hardware?

Can diagnose and repair complex faults to component level plus common issues such as RTC repair, SIMM socket replacement, capacitor replacement, audio stage repair, etc, etc.

Can also do a range repairs on Cyberstorm PPC boards such as 68040/060 socket replacement. But as service information and the supply of specialised parts is not available, repairs may not be easily possible or economic based upon what the problem is.


Contact me for an estimate or for more information. Prices are generally less than Amiga Repair Centre in France and faster turnaround. Repair times are 2-5 days at present. All common parts are immediately available ex-stock.

Regarding the a 4000 d mobos here in italy logica is continuing reapair the amiga hardware . they today sand me an email and is my best choose the logica side for fixing the mobos...

OK, it might be kinder to post thumbnails or just links to the large resolution images as opposed to posting some 18MB of photos on the forum.

Anyway, regarding the CSPPC socket (the photos don't really help) you can usually check this yourself. Have a look at the socket testing steps in the guide I wrote here at the top of the page.

In summary, if you can make the board boot with pressure on the 68k CPU then the board is repairable. Sometimes takes pressure on a corner or a side, depending on where the fault is.

I finally found a "never overclocked" CyberStormPPC (hardware rev.2) PPC 180Mhz and 060 but the Ultra-wide SCSI 3 interface is not working...is not recognize anything. cybppc.device is 44.71.

I tested with cables and devices perfectly recognized on a Ultra-wide SCSI 3 PCI PC interface.

There is a lot of corrosion or something on the soldering near SCSI component and on the CPU slot. Look at the pictures.
Is somebody has experience with someone how repairs and can share feedback.

That's solid flux on the CPU slot, not corrosion. All MKIII/PPC cards are like this.

omega i found one user of this forum who can repair your cyberstorm and mine too it is from polland is nick is stachu100. some amiga friend from italy send to him to repair phase5 hardware with success..
Every one said to me that is a kind person an much professional.

Yes I found and incredible is a friend of mine in my city!!
My cyberstormppc 040/604 150 sn 051 one of the first made by phase 5 start working after 15 years of totall inactivity now is under check about me I. Stressing the board for see if Everything work like havetoo do.
