out of curiosity, what would the shipping be to Canada (T2G5B4)

I might be interested if it isn't too bad (particularly the PC100/133 - I have 4-5 boards which use it...)

just an additional note on this one:

Canada Post announced that CP employees may go out on strike as of July 2...so that may (probably will) affect this one...it would have to be in Canada by Mon. in order to possibly be in Calgary by Wed. and out for delivery Thurs. (as Friday, July 1st is Canada Day holiday) and that isn't likely to happen.

so this might well sit at a sorting station for months, until it's all sorted out... (NPI)

I understand...

Package left physically Italian territory in June 22nd...so there are some chances that the package will be delivered before CP employees' strike...but unfortunately I cannot know the future...

Arrived today, quite literally the last day it could arrive...Canada Post locks out their workers tomorrow unless something drastic happens...

haven't had a chance to check them, but i will do so sometime this weekend.

thank you.

hm...

broke out my Dell PIII-550 (100mhz FSB/SPD supported) system this evening to give these a look at....

5 of the 12 SDRAM do not POST, including 3 of the 4 256MBs (of course including the one sold as faulty)

perhaps a plastic bag, inside a jiffy bag wasn't the best idea, particularly for overseas shipping...

I will pull out my Compaq PII-300 tomorrow for a second look, but I doubt the results will be any different...

not much more luck I am afraid, cleaned the contacts and managed to get one of the 64M that wouldn't post to work.

the 2 (of 4, + 1 working & 1 sold as failed) other 256M that failed to POST in the PIII come up with errors on the PII, one (32Mx64 256MB 'ATA') tests to 123M and fails, the other (S3+) apparently thinks its a 128M (131,xxx), tests and moves on (despite being marked as a 256M)...not sure if I'd trust it :P (I guess it could have just been a 128M that is mis-labeled, I can't seem to locate any info on S3 chips to determine what it is *supposed* to be by the chip markings)(->figured out what is going on here, the Compaq doesn't expressly support 256M sticks (3x128M) so it uses the 256 as a 128, which means the errors in the 256M are after 128M, which the Compaq doesn't even look at)
the other 64M (64M 3.3v SD) that failed to POST in the PIII fails in the PII as well.

I'd have to pull some equipment out of storage to test the CPUs and the DDR2, but I don't know if I can be bothered right now...

shame, I had hoped the 256Ms would be useful to max out my PIII and boost my other 3 SDRAM systems a bit...
