Filled Sony PVM 1442QM repair required (hissing, suspect flyback transformer)

My Sony PVM 1442QM monitor has started hissing, smelling of ozone and I can see arcing through the vents if I turn out the lights. I hear this could be an issue with the flyback transformer, but I don't want to attempt to fix itmyself (both fearing for my life and ruining such a nice monitor)!

Is anybody offering CRT repair services (ideally near the Merseyside, UK area but would consider paying for postage) who might be up for repairing it?

Posting here for the first time as I notice there's currently some CRT repair activity, and I'm not sure where else to find a specialist.

basically you would have to drive it to me,if you drive,im in birmingham


also where are all these monitors comming from,haha,its surprising me lately

this was brought down today,he not long left,monitor is fine,its not the flyback its just dust and filth around the anode cap
i non event really,i gave a bit of a clean it seems fine now

everyone is happy
