Spectrum 128k Sound problem

Hello there,

Hope someone can help me with a little problem I have, ?

I have a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128K (Toast Rack model)

Whenever I used the Scart lead, the sound from the 48K beeper chip is a lot louder than that of the 3 channel AY chip sound. However whenever I used the aerial lead they are the same loudness. Any ideas???
