Sold Spectrum clear out

I've got a few speccy bits that I want to clear as a job lot. They're in the loft so no pic just now but if anyones interested I can pull them down and take pics later

2x Speccy 48k both have the black squares displayed when you power (no 48k basic screen) so sold as faulty, maybe you can make one good from the two? One is Rubber Keys and in excellent cosmetic condition, the other is in the Spectrum+ style case in fair condition.

Also included is an empty Spectrum(rubber key'd) case & keyboard. (The motherboard went into the +case however this is pretty tatty.

There is also a WHSmiths Tape recorder and some cables and a few games as I know I have some duplicates.

The PSU end has come off, but it is working so just needs the end bit soldered back on.

I'll also include a couple of joysticks and a Kempston interface although part of the side is missing as it was modified when I was 10 years old to work with a Speccy+ 3 and to be honest I wasn't the greatest modder back then :butcher

Its working though and has 2 ports, passthrough and a reset button.

As I say its just a job lot of spares I want to clear out and offered to my Amifriends

Postage via Parcel2go in UK will be £8.50 by DHL and EU will be approx £25-£30 by Parcelforce (depending on country & final weight.) I'm guessing outside EU will be silly prices like £60+

Local collection is free, but if you bring Beer I'll let you play Wipeout on the A1200 PPC :beer:

I'm on the scrounge at work for packing materials, I'm making good progress so should be able to get it all packed tonight and collected by DHL tomorrow.

Worst case will be collection Monday, will keep you and the thread updated...

I've booked the collection but Parcel2go are not accepting 'Same Day' Collections at the moment, obviously I didn't want to book the collection yesterday in case I could not make it to work! (So its booked in officially for tomorrow)

We will have a DHL Van here at 3pm anyway so maybe they'll take the parcel today? I'll update once its been collected

Just an update, DHL had still not turned up for their daily collection when I left work today and it looks like they must not have turned up at all as I've had an email to say collection has been re-booked for tomorrow.

Can confirm although DHL were at my Work yesterday evening the driver said he was not instructed to collect my Parcel so its still here

On the live chat now to Parcel2go and see if I can get them to assure me it will be booked for today, it seems ridiculous that there has been a driver here two days in a row and he can't take the parcel! oh:

I've just got off the live chat with Parcel2go, they've told me DHL are not accepting anymore collections in my area and that it wont even be collected today.

Since today is my last full day at work I'm going to have to find another way to send the parcel.

I'll check how much it is to send at the post office, other then that maybe it would be best to re-book collection in the new year?

I'll let you know about post office and if thats too expensive then I'll let you decide if you want a refund or to wait until the new year.

Thanks for your understanding. Royal mail standard parcel service will be about £12 according to their online calculator.

I can re-arrange the collection from my home address after Christmas, some time between 29th & 31st, depending on our plans.

@Thread zaxon has kindly tested my PSU which I thought was faulty (sent it to him with the parcel) and you'll be pleased to know he has fixed for himself my faulty spectrums, so we now have 2x 48k speccy's back in the world
