Sold STB Auto EGA boxed with manual and disk

For sale this EGA card in excellent condition. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it gives random characters at bootup. Not sure if there's a bad memory chip or something else? My repair skills aren't advanced enough to diagnose any further, so hopefully someone can repair it
