Hi, Does anyone have a Super Denise to sell for a reasonable amount? Potentially 2 of them of my buddy wants one for his A500 too?

Thanks
J

So just out of curiosity, what kind of advantage would I get to putting a Super Denise into my A500? I have a TF536 in it. There's a memory expansion in it that shows 2.5MB ram when I boot into Workbench 1.3 for example. I'm using an RGB to SCART cable with a good SCART to HDMI convertor box and I have a BenQ monitor that's less than a 2 years old. Will I be able to get higher resolution without interlace flicker with the Super Denise?

Thanks for any advice
J

A few things on top of extra workbench screen selections. It is ECS Agnus.
The Super Denise supports programmable scan rates so it can generate 31 KHz screen modes without any extra hardware. Unfortunately, the palette is very limited in these modes. This also allows audio playback rates > 28 KHz, superhires (1280 pixel horizontal, max 4 colors out of only 64).
New genlock features. (new ways to choose "transparent" color)
Improved support with non-PAL/NTSC (programmed) modes (display window size/position etc..)
Fixes at least one denise bug related to strobe register handling, this causes blank screen with some demos if super denise is installed.
