When I set my Tower back up I just used my 4 way buffered IDE as I thought the booting problems were down to the FastATA, anyway it was the Apollo causing the black screen so I want to re-install the FastATA device.

Do I need to remove the IDEFIX drivers first? Or is that done as part of the FastATA installer?

Don't really want to start again from scratch although thats possible since I've got a backup to work from but that would mean reinstalling all the Mediator drivers, etc.

Thanks,

Steve.

Always remove un-necessary drivers manually. You cannot guarantee that an installation program will remove them for you.
