its super nice, see the pics and the sale includes an EinSDein SD card interface that hangs off the expansion bus and acts like a hard drive.
Has a really nicely done custom rom, when you boot it initialises the card, runs an ini file, mounts a couple virtual dsk files and acts like a hard drive. stick stuff on from t'internet, type the name, run, simples. Load jetset willy, manic miner, or or Xtal dos (like CPM)..theres even a nice version of elite, the einstein is a surprising machine.. highway is a reall ynice game too. (no games included for rules, just provide an sd card, I can advise)
even has cpm, and bbc basic. oooh and a really rather nice z80 monitor. oooh..
plus you will NOT find an einSDein for sale. Ever.
I think the volume control needs fixing, the sound works at a decent volume but the volume rotary doesnt seem to do much. A few keys need repeated pressing/are a little sticky, but get better after a few seconds. else it is extremely clean.
its also been modded to use a standard BBC rgb scart, just a little fly lead, easily removed as you wish.
comes with a 3" floppy, think this works, but I use the einSDein. you can easily use 3.5"s or add a 2nd drive in you are that way inclined. can even use a slimline drive...
