@Zetr0

Not quite, a Watlingtonite though! :)

Unfortunately you have missed out on this one.

Now worries, glad you got a sale and congrats to Bagpuss22! :thumbsup:

@bagpuss22,

Really pleased its going to a loving home ;)

Bas (TheCorfiot) has been telling me great things about the Einstein over the last handful of weeks along with JuvUK... and Fatbob_gb.... figured I would have a lookie ;)

Next time me thinks =D

Anyone got an RGB cable diagram so I can knock something up to connect to SCART?

I have had a look at the manual and you can set RGB on the motherboard, just need to know if anything 'special' is required in a SCART lead.

Thanks

Russ

Ok my dear Russ...

You can use a std BBC RGB cable with the Einstein but you need to make a very simple mod internally.
You have to take the top off to set the output jumpers from YUV to RGB anyway..

Use a small piece of kynar wire and connect the centre pin of the 6pin din socket to the nearest +5V pickup point (use a meter to find it)

This upgrades the Einsteins socket to the same spec as the BBC machines...
No limiting resistor is needed as the Beeb scart cable has one already inline.

This is the setup I use with mine..

TC :)

Here's a diagram from the Appendix of the Manual. TC converted mine to use the BBC scart and the pictures lovely :thumbsup: It also works great with the HxC although you'll find a couple of games probably need to be copied back to a 3" disk. :whistle:

Thanks gents,

Will have a look into that when it gets delivered.

Missed delivery today but having it sent to work tomorrow, so I could do the 5v mod as I have all the decent solder rework area there.. :thumbsup:
