I've dug the card out, I'm not certain it's a 512i so I will put some pictures up for you shortly.

that's not the 512i, it's a terratec DMX card... it's a good one (better than the 512i) but it's a totally different chipset...
that extra pcb is the digital input/output board

Thank you for the photos but as keropi said, it's a completely different chipset. I'm specifically looking for boards which have the Fortemedia FM801 chip.

This chipset was used on some cards by Terratec, AOpen, and some others.

I have one of these cards already; it's one of the most basic implementations of the FM801 chip.

I'm looking for other variations such as the 512i which has optical out. There are also some which were manufactured with a wavetable header.
