Hi guys, I am waiting for the new batch to come in to resume building & shipping. I’m ordering small batches at a time since I don’t know how much interest there will be so things are a bit slow atm.

Hello - I would like one also - board only, please (no relocator needed). Will send a private message.

Got the board today. Couldn't wait so I put it in at once. Got one big problem though, doesn't seem to want to work together with my GVP HD8+ controller. Most of the times I get a "gvpscsi.device: board 000 Ignored Status $FF/$FF" requester and that's as far as it goes. In one try it started booting but eventually it ended up doing the same.

Have kickstart 2.04 installed, don't know if that's a reason since a 3.1 seems to be required for the IDE to work. I have a 3.1 kickstart, just haven't gotten around to install it yet.

Booting from floppy works just fine if I disable autoboot on the GVP.

Just seen this thread. After posting a wanted.

im building an A500++. I’ve got a 030 pin type cpu, one rated at 50mhz the other 40mhz.

would you sell me a card without cpu so I could fit my own?

Received my board today and installed in A500+.

Works so well now. A500 needed this :D

Feedback has been left.

Thanks Alen :)

most likely the gvp card is trying to DMA into Z3 ram, and this can’t work. It’s the same bug that commodore scsi drivers have.

No plans to add FPU option to this great card?

No FPU, sorry.

the next batch has finally shipped and it will be here Monday or Tuesday.

Arrived today, installed and working in my A2000. Exceptional standard of workmanship in this card. Thanks Alen, very much appreciated!

Mine finally arrived yesterday, was doing some preliminary testing and works fine, the build quality is awesome!, i had to replace my 68k socket because the relocator was just too lose.
feedback left.

So, will 3.1 sove this or is there some other solution for this?

unless you have a way to patch the ROM on the GVP card, you’ll have to use the 536’s IDE interface. The driver For that one is contained in rom version 37.300 or higher.

Ok, thanks.

Had my card a few weeks now....Upgraded from a TF534......The TF536 is freakin awesome.....almost 3mb/sec IDE speed....with MMU.libs......a have a AlphaData AT bus and a Reference ram......first boot the alphadata did not boot...it has its own boot rom..(screen flashes blue twice...then the kickstart kicks in)....so i just removed both as there no longer needed tbh

Just an update on the situation. The new cards have arrived but I am awaiting a new CPU delivery. Very few CPUs were usable in the last batch I ordered so I am switching to a different source and rating to see if I can get a better yield. Please keep an eye on your PM inbox since you will be getting contacted very soon.

Thanks

The card is awesome but it does not fit in my A500 revision 5 board as the relocator covers my kickstart adapter which is needed for 3.1.4. I have ordered a Sordin adapter that should fix this. For an A2000 you need to get a CPU relocator for the accelerator slot as the board hits the capacitor :( I also want to try this in my second A1000 to see how it works.

AlenPPC Please put me on the interest list for a second TF536 without a relocate adapter.

Will it work in my A2000 together with the VA2000 graphic card and the A2286AT Bridgeboard pc emulator?

I really don’t know. This is still a very new card that hasn’t been tested with many zorro boards.

if I had to guess I’d say it probably will work but I can’t be 100% sure.
