Hi guys, I am waiting for the new batch to come in to resume building & shipping. I’m ordering small batches at a time since I don’t know how much interest there will be so things are a bit slow atm.
Got the board today. Couldn't wait so I put it in at once. Got one big problem though, doesn't seem to want to work together with my GVP HD8+ controller. Most of the times I get a "gvpscsi.device: board 000 Ignored Status $FF/$FF" requester and that's as far as it goes. In one try it started booting but eventually it ended up doing the same.
Have kickstart 2.04 installed, don't know if that's a reason since a 3.1 seems to be required for the IDE to work. I have a 3.1 kickstart, just haven't gotten around to install it yet.
Booting from floppy works just fine if I disable autoboot on the GVP.
No plans to add FPU option to this great card?

most likely the gvp card is trying to DMA into Z3 ram, and this can’t work. It’s the same bug that commodore scsi drivers have.

So, will 3.1 sove this or is there some other solution for this?

unless you have a way to patch the ROM on the GVP card, you’ll have to use the 536’s IDE interface. The driver For that one is contained in rom version 37.300 or higher.
I really don’t know. This is still a very new card that hasn’t been tested with many zorro boards. Will it work in my A2000 together with the VA2000 graphic card and the A2286AT Bridgeboard pc emulator?
