Atm im sick of scsi, the different connectors, the termination and the adapters you need to get an ide disk to function.
If you do find a SCSI disk you want to use you are limited by that to just becouse i cant transfer my installs from my PC to a fresh SCSI HDD as easy as with an IDE HDD.

So here is my question.
What do i need to buy to get the "best" IDE option out there?
Ofc i want to be able to boot from it.

I have looked on FastATA MK-VI 4000 but i cant find any for sale.
Is there an option that is easy to get and setup?

Just want the **** to work, very frustrated atm :soapbox:

hi what about a scsi to ide adapter then use a ide hardrive or cf card

You just need a SCSI controller in the pc. They are dirty cheap and do wonders for setting up SCSI disks.

in the setup you had did you have a terminator on it with term power turned on?
when you was using the acard.
