The AmiRant area is where you can let off steam, rant, rave, kick off, complain, whinge, whine, pull someone's head off, chuck toys out of the pram etc.
However, like most areas of the site, there are a few ground rules we have to put in place.
The rules regarding topics for discussion in here are simple; almost anything goes. However, abusive, trolling, flaming, bullying, anything pornographic or highly offensive language posts are not allowed and could result in the offender being warned or banned. Please note that this thread is in a public area of the site and non-members, bots and visitors can also see your posts; bear this in mind before you post something that you may later regret.
Two topics to be avoided: Religion and Politics.
Amibay is a retro computer trading post where enthusiasts from around the world hang out and have fun. Off topic areas allow discussion about anything on anyone's mind. But, these two areas seem to create a lot of potential for offence being taken through misunderstanding, misinterpretation or language.
We respectfully ask people to avoid topics of religion and/or politics because of the potential for the debate to degenerate into abuse from an innocent misunderstanding causing immense bad feeling between all parties.
