Will the Amiga 600 psu work with a a500? If the answers yes, then I'm declaring interest. Thanks. Gav

Flimbo most of you pic links don`t work, or perhapse I should say only the Amstrad PCW Keyboard (model: 8256) link works for me

I'm sure that when I popped over and looked at it, that Walker was missing a disk or two.

Could be worth checking :)

if it helps anyone out flimbo, the random garbage on screen with c64's is normally the ram ic's.this is fixable mate.

and the second one is probably the 6526 cia part,if i had the time i would have both of these and make a good one from them.

good luck with your sale, and sorry if it bothered anyone.

Interested in the 1570, is it the same as the 1571?

Yes it will, A500, 600 and 1200 computers share the same connector and electricity numbers.

Yah not sure about that - if you scroll through my pictures you will eventually come across that correct one.

Sorry but not too sure. The 1570 is a great sturdy drive that works well. It uses the old 'massive' floppy disks. The 1571 supported double sides but virtually the same as the 1570.

Yeah it has three discs which is complete.

Sorry to but in on sales thread but if it might help someone here is what i now.

I believe the only (functional) difference between 1570 and 1571 is that the '71 has internal psu and "MK2" look (light gray not beige) while the 1570 looks like old C64 design
I have an 1571 but i think that all the Commodore drives were really well built stuff

Please correct me if i'm wrong on this

EDIT: nope wikipedia says they're single-sided 170k only

There is something wrong with some of your image links, it worked in your earlier thread but not anymore.

Wish i could buy those C64's off of you i need both spare parts for my C128 and a C64 would be fun to tinker with and try to repair. Just need cash. Damn always waiting for money from invoices since i started on my own. Times where better as an employee trusty paycheck every month
sorry for going OT here.
