I have a Timex Sinclair 2040 thermal printer. I however have no power supply for it nor do I have a Sinclair computer to try it on, so I'm pretty much unable to do any kind of testing. This thing is sold As-Is.

If the power box supplies AC voltage there is not such a thing like positive or negative in the central pin.
