I am sure a lot of people will recognize this :)
So, I was testing one of my C64's thats been in a box for too long and no image....hmm. Checked it out and turned out to be a faulty 6581, luckely socketed already so hoppa, gone.

"Now let me think, did I have SID chips....hmm, I remember seeing some Commodore chips in a drawer the other day", well yes, but Amiga chips so bummer, I must have been mistaken, no more SID chips, oh well, I'll sort it out some other time.

So tonight I was looking for a drive on my attic (that was easy to find) but I noticed a big box "hmm now what was in here again", ow nice, Commodore magazines and a modem, fun "but what is this, a anti-static box, two..no three boxes even" and you guessed it, about 5 SID chips and loads more C64 chips hehe.

With other words : too much stuff that I dont even remember having...lol

Sounds like my "74F08N" quest from this past weekend.

I've been experimenting with an accelerator for my new 3000T that I purchased here on Amibay (Thanks again quarkx!!!) and I needed a 74F08N.

I could swear I had some in a box under my desk with a bunch of other TTL and CMOS IC's, but, I couldn't locate them.

So, I ordered a tube of 10 (never know when someone here might need one ...)

Low and behold, I was installing a second PCI video card in my powermac G5 to drive a third monitor, and knocked a small box over which has been sitting next to my mouse pad for months. A slew of chips flew out of it. There were 5 74F08N's in there.
