Following a rethink of my home network requirements, I no longer require either of these items.
First item is a TP Link range extner. These are useful if you have a weak wireless signal in parts of your home/ business as this can considerably increase the range of the network. I bought this as a new open box unit and used it for perhaps 10 minutes before replacing my router. My new router has a considerably better wireless signal than my old one, hence this is no longer needed.

Next item is an HP wireless G USB printer server. This allows a USB printer to be shared across a wirless network even if it is not wireless itself. Unfortunately this was not compatible with my printer (HP 970cxi) and my new router has a USB print server built in, so again surplus to requirements!
